Crozer-Keystone Employee Engagement Survey Update

DEADLINE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2020

Sent on behalf of Human Resources

Crozer-Keystone remains committed to achieving high levels of success in all aspects of our performance. We all have insights and ideas about how to continuously improve our level of productivity and deliver the highest quality of care. To gather such information objectively, we are asking all employees to complete a web-based employee engagement survey.

Due to the timing of Oracle and the launch of our survey, employees will need to use their old employee number to take the survey. This number can be found on any pay stub dated before December 22, 2019.

  • Additional instructions via the images below

If you have any trouble locating your employee ID number, please contact Carmine Fieo in Human Resources at 610-447-6325 or Carmine.Fieo@crozer.org.

To begin the survey:

  • Visit prospectsurvey2020.hsdmetrics.com
  • At the login screen, you will be asked to enter your healthcare system’s code, followed by your employee ID number for security purposes.
    • Example: ck1234567
    • Our healthcare system code is ck
    • Enter your employee number. Do not include any leading zeros.

The survey is anonymous. No one will see your answers, and your name will not be revealed in any of the data collected. Your employee ID number is requested for security purposes and to ensure only one response is submitted for each employee. HSD Metrics has 27-year history surveying employees and understands the importance of not revealing your name or employee number anywhere in our reporting.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact HSD Metrics at 1-877-439-9315 or survey@hsdmetrics.com.

This is a unique opportunity for all of us to influence and improve our work environment for achieving exceptional healthcare. Once the findings have been compiled and reviewed, you will receive feedback on the overall results and key themes.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

As part of our ongoing effort to protect sensitive information, Crozer-Keystone has implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Office 365 access.

  • All employees are required to use MFA when connecting to Office 365 on any computer that is not directly connected to the Crozer-Keystone IT network.
  • Please click here for step-by-step enrollment instructions.

Employee Verification Process

Delaware County Online Survey on Public Health

Sent on behalf of Marketing and Corporate Communications

Delaware County is seeking input from the public, health care professionals, and municipal leaders on the public health needs of residents throughout the county. In June, Delaware County Council unanimously voted to hire Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health to evaluate the delivery of health and public health services in Delaware County and provide the County with recommendations on how to enhance and strengthen these services. The study is being done to gain a better understanding of the public health needs of residents and identify any gaps in the delivery of services. As part of the study, residents are invited to complete an online survey on how the County is addressing residents’ public health needs. All survey responses will be anonymous. The survey is open to all Delaware County residents over 18 years of age, now through January 31, 2020, and can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/DelCoSurvey. Click here to learn more.

Is Bariatric Surgery Right for You? Weight Loss Seminar: Tuesday, January 28

Sent on behalf of the Comprehensive Bariatric Surgery Program Team

Crozer-Keystone’s Comprehensive Bariatric Surgery Program offers free educational seminars at our various locations. During these seminars, a qualified Bariatric professional explains surgical options available through our program. Topics include: how our program works, the procedures we perform, and what processes are involved when considering weight loss surgery. Most importantly, these seminars help to answer the question: Is bariatric surgery right for you?

All prospective patients must attend a bariatric seminar as the first step in our comprehensive surgery program. Patients are invited to bring family members and loved ones for information and support. Our next seminar is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, at Brinton Lake. Registration is required. Click here to register. Click here to learn more about our program.

Crozer-Keystone Implements Microsoft Teams

Sent on behalf of Samuel Alfano, D.O., director of clinical informatics

Ever wished your team had one central hub to meet, work, share, and chat? Now they do! Crozer-Keystone is implementing Microsoft Teams, a chat and collaboration platform for Microsoft Office 365 users, designed to simplify group work.

Microsoft Teams is an entirely new experience that brings together people, conversations and content—along with the tools that teams need—so they can easily collaborate to achieve more.

As well as the chat-based communications, Teams' integration with other Microsoft services allows users access to shared files and calendars, collaborative editing, and easy switching between voice, video, and text chat. Microsoft Teams brings chat, content, people, and tools together, all in one hub, wherever you are.

CHAT

Microsoft Teams provides a modern conversation experience. Microsoft Teams supports not only persistent but also threaded chats to keep everyone engaged. Team conversations are, by default, visible to the entire team, but there is, of course, the ability for private discussions. Skype is deeply integrated so that teams can participate in voice and video conferencing. And everyone can add personality to their digital workspace with emojis, stickers, GIFs, and custom memes to make it their own.

TEAMWORK

Microsoft Teams brings together the full breadth and depth of Office 365 to provide a true hub for collaboration. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, etc. are all built into Microsoft Teams, so people have all the information and tools they need at their fingertips.

CUSTOMIZE

Tailor your workspace to include the content and capabilities your team needs every day. Tabs and Connectors provide quick access to frequently used documents, websites, and 3rd party apps.

Turn on Microsoft Teams today!

As part of our IT upgrade in November, all desktop computers now have Microsoft Teams installed and accessible. We also encourage employees to visit the app store and download Microsoft Teams on their mobile devices.

In February 2019, Crozer-Keystone Health System partnered with Tiger Connect, Inc. to launch a HIPAA-compliant mobile communication tool. Please note, all Tiger Text users are encouraged to migrate to Microsoft Teams. Our access to Tiger Text services ended on January 1, 2020.
